The pentagon has told Pakistan not to worry about the huge increase in troop numbers on the Pak-Afghan border.
Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell said that the build up of US troops pose no threat to Pakistan.
“But this certainly should not be viewed as any sort of threat to Pakistan. This should be viewed as a way to help them combat a problem in their midst as well,” he said.
“And so that’s why we are seeing much better cooperation in terms of border security between us, the Afghans and the Pak military. So I don’t think they should view it as anything but a positive if this comes to be.”
Nice try guys, but I think you forgot your Trojan Horse. After Obama’s lovely little muscle flexing that left 22 people dead, it looks like scene two, act one, will kick off where Bush left it.
